Carterton's Jess Clement has been announced as the new Sustainable Style Model for 2014's New Zealand Eco Fashion Exposed, to be held in Lower Hutt in July.
Jess, who took part in the 2013 show as a volunteer, entered the Sustainable Style Model competition earlier in the year and was chosen from a selection of entrants due to her passion for eco fashion.
In her entry she stated "eco fashion has shown me how to reuse and recycle garments that only two years ago I would have just discarded.
"It has saved my partner and I hundreds of dollars".
New Zealand Eco Fashion Exposed has been created to showcase fashion and accessories that are organic, ethical, upcycled and/or recycled and will feature garments by eco designers from around the world.
