United Future appears willing to support the party-hopping bill - at least so a select committee can examine it.
The law, which lapsed at the election, was reintroduced to Parliament last week as a condition of the agreement Labour signed with NZ First to form a Government.
United Future leader Peter Dunne said yesterday that his caucus would make a final decision today but he expected it would support the Electoral (Integrity) Amendment Bill's going to a select committee.
Labour, the Progressives and NZ First will support the bill - 58 votes in total. United's three votes would be enough to get it passed.
