An emergency meeting today could see plans for Auckland's "party central" at the Rugby World Cup changed again.
The Government and Auckland Regional Council (ARC) earlier this year said two sheds on Queen's Wharf would be demolished and replaced with a temporary structure for the Rugby World Cup.
But following consultation between the ARC and the Historic Places Trust, the ARC will hold an emergency meeting today to discuss the sheds, Radio New Zealand reported.
The trust had called for the sheds to be retained, saying they had significant heritage value.
