KEY POINTS:
The Ministry of Education and the Post Primary Teachers Association have reached an agreement over a pay dispute.
The agreement will now be discussed by PPTA members in union meetings over the next two weeks.
The teachers were seeking improved pay and conditions, with a pay increase of 7.5 per cent over one year.
The teachers were to strike last month, but the PPTA called off the industrial action, saying the offer had improved sufficiently to continue pay talks.
