John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono continues to oppose the release of her husband's killer over fears he could come after her and the his children.
Mark Chapman was convicted of shooting dead the Beatles legend in 1980.
He became eligible for parole in 2000 and is set to face another board hearing today in New York.
