A man who reportedly told security staff he had a petrol bomb has been arrested on Parliament grounds this morning.
The man was well-known to police and had been arrested for trespassing as he was not supposed to be at Parliament, police spokesman Mike Coleman told NZPA.
The man had been taken away by police and his white van was being towed away.
