Kiwi pop stalwart Jordan Luck has become a special ambassador for Parkinson's New Zealand - aiming to lift public awareness of the neurological condition.
The lead singer of band The Exponents said he was pleased to be involved with the work of Parkinson's NZ as his father suffered from the disease.
"Many people know about the most common symptoms like tremor and slow movement, but Parkinson's can affect all sorts of everyday things most of us take for granted even singing, laughing and emotions," Luck said. More than 9000 New Zealanders suffer from Parkinson's.
