A man has died after his motorbike crashed with a ute at the settlement of Parikino near Whanganui this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Parihauhau Rd about 1.40pm.
The motorcyclist was found dead at the scene, police said.
The occupants of the van were uninjured.
The police’s Serious Crash Unit has completed a scene examination and the road has since reopened.
