Parents take son to police

Whangarei police are praising the actions of parents who took their 12-year-old son in to see them after discovering he had been involved in an alleged street robbery.

Acting Sergeant John Larkin said the parents should be praised for their responsible attitude in taking the boy to police after learning of his involvement.
