McDonald's has bowed to the complaints of parents concerned that Australian pop duo the Veronicas are too hot for their tots.
The fastfood chain has been offering toys with children's Happy Meals which play 29-second clips of one of five tunes, including the Veronicas' song 4ever. Lyrics include, "Come with me tonight, we could make the night last forever".
The marketing director of McDonald's, Ian Sutcliffe, said: "It's absolutely not our intention to offend anybody." McDonald's had offered to exchange the music stick for one containing a different song.
