A German tourist crashed a paraglider into a hill near the Coronet Peak skifield yesterday.
Queenstown Police said the 17-year-old lost control of her paraglider about 200m above ground. The qualified pilot had been receiving instruction from a local company on the flight.
The woman was admitted to Lakes District Hospital. Details of her injuries were not known last night.
