A paraglider was airlifted to hospital this afternoon after crashing in Christchurch's Port Hills.
The male paraglider was thought to have suffered back injuries after falling near Summit Road shortly after midday, St John public relations coordinator Ian Henderson said.
He will receive treatment at Christchurch Hospital.
