Emergency services were called to a house fire in the Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe this morning.
A Fire Service spokeswoman said a call was received at about 4am from a neighbour who saw smoke coming from the roof of the building on Wyllie Rd.
A female was taken to Middlemore Hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
