The man killed in a quarry truck crash this week has been named.
He was Paul Joseph Rowberry, 63, from Papamoa.
Mr Rowberry was killed while operating a truck at Tauranga Quarry on Kaitemako Rd, Welcome Bay, on Monday. Worksafe New Zealand has confirmed it is investigating.
Police released Mr Rowberry's name this morning, saying "police's thoughts are with Mr Rowberry's loved ones at this difficult time".
The Serious Crash Unit investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
