Pamplona bulls hurt Aucklander

A 26-year-old Aucklander was reported late last night to be among nine thrill-seekers injured at the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. Three of the injured were gored.

The New Zealander, who was not named, was treated in Navarra Hospital for a hurt wrist and discharged.

Last night's run, the last at the annual festival, was the bloodiest this year.

People were tossed around by the bulls. One beast at the back fell and, enraged, turned and charged runners behind it at least three times.
