Around 70,000 runners and walkers took part in Auckland's iconic Round the Bays fun run in fine conditions this morning.
Scott Winton was the first male to cross the finish line in 26m 19s, while Rachel Penney was first woman to finish in 34m17s.
Both are from the Pakuranga Athletics Club.
The run is 8.4km long over a flat course that follows the contours of Auckland's Waitemata harbour. It started in the city on Quay St and finished on the waterfront at St Heliers Bay.
It has been part of Auckland's late summer calendar since 1972.
