One person is said to have "suffered a medical event" after a liquor store robbery in Pakuranga this afternoon and is in a serious condition. Photo / File
Two men have robbed a liquor store in Pakuranga before making a quick getaway this afternoon.
Shortly after 4pm police said the two men entered, then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Emergency services were called to Gossamer Dr in Pakuranga in Pakuranga, where the liquor shop owner is believedto have had a heart attack.
A worker at a neighbouring shop New Moon Takeaways said he saw police cars and witnessed quite a commotion, but did not know what happened.
"We are quite busy working, but we did see police cars and an ambulance around the area," he said.
