Pakuranga crash causes traffic diversion

Motorists are being warned to expect some delays following a car crash in Pakuranga.

Police and emergency services are at the accident scene at the intersection of Gossamer Drive and Pakuranga Road.

All southbound traffic on Pakuranga Road heading towards Ti Rakau Drive is currently being diverted onto Cascades Road.

Police expect diversions to be in place until 7.30pm.

A 12-year-old boy was injured in the crash and has been taken to Middlemore Hospital with moderate injuries.
