Two men charged with the murder of a Helensville man will defend the charges.
Scaffolder Andrew Parry Nicholson, 24, was charged alongside 27-year-old John Grant Cuthers with murdering Lee McMurdo in July 27 2011 and stealing a Mitsubishi car police believe is linked to the case.
The pair, both from west Auckland, are also facing serious drugs charges including conspiracy to supply and supply of methamphetamine.
Their lawyers - Marie Dyhrberg and Terence Darby - entered not guilty pleas on their clients' behalf at the High Court at Auckland today.
Nicholson and Cuthers were remanded in custody, and are due to stand trial for five weeks in November.
