KEY POINTS:
Two men sought over the fatal hit and run of a South Auckland woman are now helping police with their investigation.
Joanne Wang, 39, died after being knocked down by a stolen 4WD in the car park of Manukau's main shopping mall on June 16. Her eight-year-old son watched as she was struck.
Counties Manukau police said they found Vila Lemanu, 23, and Dalton Harris, 21, this afternoon on Auckland's North Shore.
A Counties-Manukau police spokeswoman said the men were found together and were helping police with the investigation into Mrs Wang's death.
Police would give a media update tomorrow morning, she said.
Mrs Wang was run over as she tried to stop a man who had stolen her handbag. The thief allegedly got into the car that ran her over.
Four men have already been arrested and have appeared in court.
They include two men who were charged with setting fire to the vehicle, a 19-year-old man who was found to have the handbag and the 21-year-old driver who has been charged with murder.
