Two people escaped serious injury in an early morning road crash in rural Masterton yesterday.
Masterton fire station officer Garry Neilsen said firefighters, police and an ambulance crew attended the crash scene shortly before 6am yesterday on Matapihi Rd at Te Ore Ore.
He said the incident involved a single car, the two occupants of which were out of the vehicle when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
He said the two were treated for injuries "that weren't serious" and firefighters assisted paramedics and cleared the crash site.
