Two people charged in connection with the murder of Kapiti man Raymond "Son" Piper have been granted bail ahead of another court appearance next month.
Susan Bragger, 44, of Paraparaumu, and Sean Hawke, 50, of Tauranga, appeared in Porirua District Court this morning on charges of intent to cause grievous bodily harm and causing grievous bodily harm to Mr Piper between May 15 and June 8.
The pair were granted bail to reappear on August 30.
There were angry scenes inside the court as Mr Piper's supporters shouted "give our boy back" and "f--k you".
Outside the court, people held placards saying "Kill you Sue", "Sean Hawke is a homo" and "kill yourself".
Ainsley Brent Anderson, 51, unemployed, has been charged with being a party to the murder. He will reappear in court on Thursday.
Police are continuing their public pleas for information in an effort to find Mr Piper's body.
Twenty-three-year-old Mr Piper was last seen on May 15 when he disappeared from the home of his former partner, Hanna Lark, in Eatwell Avenue, Paraparaumu.
