Police in Christchurch have arrested a man and a woman after a stabbing incident at a suburban Linwood house last night.
Police were called to a Worcester St house about 9pm when a man received serious but not life-threatening injuries.
His alleged attacker left before police arrived.
Detective Sergeant Tony Hill said a man aged 20 was expected in Christchurch District Court today charged with aggravated burglary and injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A 19-year-old woman would appear in court tomorrow charged with aggravated burglary, Mr Hill said.
