Pair accused of tractor theft

Two men are bailed to appear in Queenstown District Court next Wednesday after allegedly taking a tractor to drive 3km home following a night's drinking in Wanaka.

Police were called to a property off Aubrey Rd about 2am on Wednesday by a resident who heard his tractor being driven in a paddock, the Otago Daily Times reported.

The men face a number of charges.
