The link between Auckland's Northwestern and Southern motorways remains closed to traffic heading south, due to a paint spill.
A container of 1000 litres of paint aboard a truck leaked onto the link this afternoon, and emergency services were continuing to mop it up, police northern communications shift inspector Lou Alofa said.
The link was likely to be closed to traffic heading south for another two hours, he said.
