The family of a man who was shot in Paeroa in 2012 are appealing to members of the public to come forward with information as the third anniversary of his death approaches.
Police said they were still no closer to identifying the person, or group, responsible for the "senseless and unexplained" killing of Jordan Voudouris in Paeroa three years ago.
Mr Voudouris was shot and killed in the early hours of June 18, 2012.
Following his death a large team of police worked on the case, and spoke with a large number of people within the Paeroa community and further afield, however no one was ever arrested in relation to Mr Voudouris' death.
Detective Sergeant Dean Anderson said that although the original investigation team has reduced in size, there was a small team of officers working through information the public had supplied over the last three years.
