A paddle boarder who was believed to be missing has been located by police and is safe and sound.
A search commenced, after a member of the public reported seeing a paddle boarder who appeared to be struggling in the Raglan Harbour about 10.20am.
The Raglan Coastguard, Auckland Rescue Helicopter and police were involved in the search.
A paddle board was later located at the mouth of the harbour without its border, Detective Sergeant Dave Grace said.However, about 1.30pm the paddle boarder was confirmed to be "alive and well", Mr Grace said.
"They became separated from the board, and a search has been discontinued with a successful result."
