P-lab arrests in Waipukurau

A gang member and a woman were arrested when police closed an alleged "P" manufacturing laboratory in a house in Waipukurau on Sunday.

Police, including armed offenders squad members and detectives from Hastings, raided the house and arrested a man, 41, and a woman, 20.

Detective Sergeant David De Lange of Hastings CIB said they were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. They were to appear in the Hastings District Court.
