Corporate patrons and hospitality organisers at Eden Park are upset they have not even received an apology from the caterer following the mass poisoning at a top-dollar event at the All Blacks-Ireland test.
Eden Park caterer Michael O'Brien Catering's silence around the issue has annoyed corporate patrons who paid around $500 per head and left one event management company asking for its removal.
Health officials say raw oysters imported from Korea were the likeliest source of a gastroenteritis outbreak which left dozens ill.
The menu from the Hall of Legends hospitality area had promised Clevedon oysters, but an ordering mistake left many eating Korean imports banned in Australia.
Michael O'Brien Catering has confirmed Korean oysters were served, but refused to comment further until the Auckland Regional Public Health Service report is issued tomorrow.
Event management company Capital Events is urging Eden Park Trust Board to change its caterer.
Managing director Terry Wilson said it wrote to 140 clients who were at the June 17 test, and the majority want the caterer changed.
"If we're not able to go back to our clients with something that will leave them in no doubt whatsoever that something like this is never going to happen again, then we will need to look at the option of hosting our clients off-site where we choose a caterer we are happy to work with who's got a great reputation in New Zealand."
Mr Wilson said the company has had no explanation or apology from the caterers.
The incident left eight out of the 10 people at Eagle Technology Group's $5000 Hall of Legends corporate table ill.
CEO Gary Langford said he was very sick for about four days.
"We were not amused. You'd think when you're paying $500 a head or close to it you'd expect a better standard, wouldn't you?"
