The occupants of two vehicles linked to attacks on Christchurch sex workers have been tracked down and spoken to by police.
Police launched an appeal for help from the public after two separate assaults in central Christchurch on Friday night.
In the first incident, a 21-year-old woman was driven to Peacock St and assaulted about 10pm on Friday, police said.
Detective Sergeant Jeremy Gunn said the vehicle was described as a shiny red sedan, similar to a Holden Commodore with a spoiler on the boot.
The car was also described as having a dark coloured interior.
