Owner of washed up Kapiti Coast jetski found

Police say they have identified the owner of a jetski found washed up on a Kapiti Coast beach this morning.

The alarm was raised after the abandoned 2005-model green Kawasaki jetski was discovered at Peka Peka at 9am.

Inspector Paul Jermy said that the jetski was lost in the Wanganui area last week after the owner became separated from it.
