A Masterton resident believes the raid of a heavy concrete seat and garden sundial from his garden were thefts-for-order.
Allen Wilton says it would have taken at least two people to lift the 1.5m ornamental park bench and sundial, which were stolen early on Wednesday morning from his Cornwall St property.
"I guess somebody was interested in some aged garden furniture," he said.
"You can't see them from the street, but I think they have been picked out for a customer."
His neighbour said he heard a truck about 3am but did not investigate.
