KEY POINTS:
Police and fire safety officers are investigating a suspicious fire in a west Auckland food factory overnight.
Firefighters were called about 2.30am and when they arrived they found the warehouse in the suburb of Henderson burning fiercely.
At the height of the fire 13 appliances poured water onto the flames and took an hour to bring it under control.
Fire safety officers and police were due at the badly damaged building at first light and were treating the fire as suspicious.
