Overcast night for Christmas in Park

Overcast conditions could help make for an pleasant evening at Auckland's Christmas in the Park, according to WeatherWatch.co.nz.

Their latest forecast shows mostly cloudy skies with brisk westerlies easing.

The cloudy skies and particular wind direction means it should be a very comfortable 18 degrees during the evening.

The only downside will be if the wind takes longer to die away - making conditions a little chillier if in the wind.

WeatherWatch.co.nz predicts just a 20 per cent chance of drizzle later tonight but says it will most likely arrive after midnight, well after Christmas in the Park has finished.
