More than $2000 has been raised for Waiheke baby Charlotte Cleverley-Bisman, who is fighting meningococcal disease in Starship hospital.
Greg Dean, founder and trustee of the Jassy Dean Trust (set up in 1992 after Mr Dean's 13-year-old daughter Jassy died from meningococcal disease) said the trust had started the fund off with a $1000 donation.
Charlotte's father, Perry Bisman, said exploratory surgery scheduled for tomorrow would determine whether Charlotte's legs and hands needed to be amputated.
