Telework New Zealand has released a guide to occupational safety and health for teleworkers, identifying problems teleworkers working at home could face.
Telework says employers are responsible "as far as is practicable" for the health and safety of staff working at home and should inspect and monitor offsite workplaces.
Problems can include stress from overwork, performance concerns, and inadequate time planning and management skills.
