Assistant Apple Orchard Manager
Bostock New Zealand is NZ's largest organic apple grower and we have an opportunity for someone to be an integral part of an enthusiastic team within a financially strong, expanding, entrepreneurial business based in the vibrant Hawkes Bay region.
To support our Orchard Manager across multiple orchards, we are looking for a confident Assistant Orchard Manager to join our successful team.
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills:
• Highly organised and eye for detail
• Exceptional time management
• Confident leadership skills
• Proven orchard operation and practices (ideally organic but not essential)
• Ability to work long hours and up to 7 days a week due to seasonal fluctuations
• Physically fit and willing to be hands on
• Effective communication skills
• Computer competency
• Full drivers licence
The successful application will be provided with a company tool of trade vehicle, mobile phone and remuneration commensurate with experience.
