All but one of nine licensed premises in Opotiki have been caught selling alcohol to minors.
When two volunteers aged 16 and 17 set out to buy liquor on Friday night only one outlet challenged the attempted purchase, liquor licensing inspector Stu Chapman said yesterday.
The other eight outlets neither asked the teenagers for identification nor questioned their age. They will get formal warnings and be prosecuted if they reoffend.
