Operations manager for Teletech promoted

TELETECH has promoted its operations director, Simon Kwan, to the newly-created position of professional services director. Mr Kwan has been in call centre management, account management and consulting and has been with the company for 14 months.

Wayne Tollemache, who was operations project manager, has been promoted to operations director.

OWEN Greatbatch is joining Cook Executive Recruitment Ltd. He has had 13 years in IT recruitment and was with Morgan & Banks/Compuforce.


SHARON Pitcher, media planner for McCann-Erickson Auckland, has moved to McCann Sydney to work on the Coca-Cola account.


PAUL Schmidt-Uili has joined the commercial property team of Davenports Lawyers. He has been with Palmerston North firm Fitzherbert Rowe for the last four years.


THE southern region manager of Oracle New Zealand, Robert Gosling, has been promoted to the new position of national sales manager. He has been with the company since 1990.


ANDREA Moffett has become sales and marketing manager for the all-suite hotel, Quay West Auckland.

She has been sales account manager at the hotel for 18 months and has also worked with CDL Hotels and the Tourism Board. She replaces Emma Zigan who is on maternity leave until October.


TWO new general managers have been appointed by Comtex. John Lockhart has become general manager customer relationships and Paul Stephens is joining as general manager capabilities.


CATHY Spencer has become editor of Jason Publishing. She has had 15 years in consumer and trade journalism and publishing, and for the last two years was travel editor of the Woman's Weekly.


DOCUMENTARY film maker Kevin Denholm has joined Film Construction Ltd. He recently returned to New Zealand from overseas where he was making films for the United Nations.


NATASHA Oram has become publications manager for Compaq Computer. She joined the company last year as marketing communications assistant.

Sally Bayliss is joining Compaq as events manager. She was working in community relations and corporate communications in the telecommunications industry.


CIBA Specialty Chemicals has promoted Tony Sewell to business manager Masterbatch for New Zealand and Australia, based in Melbourne. Mr Sewell has had 30 years in the colour industry, the last 12 with Ciba where he was business manager for New Zealand.


PAUL Craggs is joining Drake Executive as manager. He has an IT and human resource background and was with Air New Zealand.
