Opaki continued their charge up the Wairarapa regional one tennis points table when they thumped Gladstone 8-1 on Saturday.
It was a convincing display by Opaki although they were helped by the fact they won two matches by default.
Russell Broughton continued his unbeaten run at the top of the singles order for Opaki by disposing of Alister McWilliam 6-1-6-0 and the top women's singles saw Opaki's Katie Wyeth drop just the two games in beating Margaret Goodall 6-1-6-1.
