A 90-year-old Masterton woman found an unlikely parking spot in Masterton New World's car park yesterday.
The woman hit the accelerator instead of the brake and drove her vehicle on to another car, which was parallel parked in Dixon St, Masterton police Senior Sergeant Carolyn Watson said.
She said the driver, who was shaken but unhurt, was examined by ambulance staff at the scene.
The car the woman struck was owned by a New World employee, she said.
Police will consider whether to lay charges once their investigation is complete.
