A man is in custody after threats were allegedly made with a gun in Carterton on Wednesday.
The man was one of two men in their 20s who went to a property on Lincoln Rd and allegedly confronted the residents with a gun at about 8pm.
Senior Sergeant Mike Sutton said the Featherston man had turned himself in to police yesterday morning and was still in the process of being interviewed by police that afternoon.
Police had raided two houses in Carterton and Featherston in search of the second man, but as of late afternoon yesterday had failed to locate him.
Mr Sutton said it was alleged the pair had gone to the house to confront the residents regarding a post on social media.
