Fire crew in Canterbury were at the scene of a car crash quickly this morning - it happened right behind the Lincoln Street Station.
Crew at the station were alerted to the accident by a witness who rushed into the building.
"A gentleman just came in and told us a woman had rolled her car at the back of us here down into the creek," chief fire officer Jeremy Greenwood said.
"We just drove around to the back and were able to assist."
The car was upside down in the creek with the elderly woman trapped inside.
