A person has suffered serious injuries after a car crashed into a crane machine on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this morning.
A Northern Police communications spokesman said the crash had now been cleared away.
The incident occurred in the south lane on the Harbour Bridge about 5.20am, he said.
"A single vehicle has crashed into the back of one of the cranes on the top there," he said.
"It's all been cleared away. It's all free-flowing, well as much as free-flowing can be at this time in the morning for Auckland traffic."
He said one person was taken to hospital in a "Status 2", or serious, condition.
