One seriously injured and two others hurt in crash on Kaipara Coast Highway

Three people have been injured, one seriously, in a crash on the Kaipara Coast Highway.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 8.55pm.

One person suffered serious and is being taken to hospital via helicopter.

Two others have moderate injuries.

The road is closed and diversions are in place at West Coast Rd and Wellsford.

Delays are expected in the area and police have thanked motorists for their patience in advance.
