One seriously hurt in Onehunga crash

A crash between a car and a motorcycle in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga has left one person seriously injured.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Onehunga Mall and the busy Nielson St about 3pm.

A Fire Service spokesperson said at least one person was seriously injured and was attended to by ambulance staff.

Traffic diversions were in place but the road has since reopened.
