Firefighters have pulled a person from a car after it collided with a truck in Dannevirke's High St. Police were called just after 9am the crashoutside McDonald's, between Swinburne and Yorke Sts.
St John said it tookone person in a moderate condition to Palmerston North Hospital.
The truck was carrying metal.
High St is blocked and diversions are in place.
