One person has died in a single-vehicle crash in Waikato this afternoon.
Police said the crash happened on Te Mawhai Rd near Te Awamutu about 12.12pm.
One person died at the scene.
Senior Sergeant Damion Rangitutia said emergency services had put road closures in place at Te Mawhai Road and State Highway 3 while the serious crash unit investigated.
It was not yet known when the roads would be reopened.
