A man has died in a car crash on the Thames Coast Rd.
Emergency services are at the scene of the crash, at Boundary Creek Bridge.
The victim and sole occupant of the vehicle, was reportedly thrown from the car.
The narrow, windy road connects Thames to Coromandel Town and
is now closed. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The St John ambulance service attended the crash, north of Tapu, at 7.04am.
