A person was critically injured when a car and truck collided in Otaua, southwest of Pukekohe, this morning.
Inspector Ian Brooker of police northern communications said the crash happened about 8.45am.
The car and truck, carrying carrots, collided on Maioro Rd, Otaua. One person was critically injured with head injuries, Mr Brooker said.
St John transported the person with critical injuries to Middlemore Hospital by helicopter, and another person suffered moderate injuries in the crash.
